The company will provide both field and laboratory services for various ongoing Army Corps of Engineers projects in the northeastern U.S. and adjacent waters. Tasks will include sampling and the physical, chemical and biological testing of sediments to be dredged and disposed of throughout the northeast region. The company will also prepare environmental documents in compliance with numerous U.S. federal regulations, including the Clean Water Act, Marine Protection Research and Sanctuaries Act and the National Environmental Policy Act.  The reports will cover a range of engineering, planning, and environmental issues.

Services provided under the contract will support environmental assessment, resource management and protection responsibilities of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the New England District.

Woods Hole Group Environmental Laboratories offers experienced scientific and technical staff and a wide range of risk-based, compliance-based and specialty analyses.
