Bioaccumulation of PAHs in Lobster

In support of a risk assessment for a utility industry client, Woods Hole Group Environmental Laboratories prepared and analyzed edible lobster tissue for PAHs.  A batch of organisms were sampled and analyzed using appropriate tissue cleanup procedures and GC/MS with selected ion monitoring (SIM) to provide reporting limits on the order of 10 ug/Kg (ppb) dry weight.
