DAMOS Program Sediments, 
Long Island Sound
In support of the DAMOS Program and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New England District, Woods Hole Group has analyzed sediments.  During 1998, sample delivery groups were received from two New London Disposal Site surveys and a Western Long Island Sound Reference Site survey.  Analyses have included low-level PAHs by GC / MS-SIM, organochloride pesticides, PCB Aroclors, metals and TOC.  Results have been reported on a 28-day turnaround time in hard copy and with an electron data deliverable.
